USM discusses how Business Weather Intelligence® can be used to optimize store accessibility and foot traffic at Planalytics Symposium in Rogers, Arkansas.
Saturday, 27 March 2010
On March 31, Planalytics, the singular global source of Business Weather Intelligence, will be hosting a special symposium and networking event for the Walmart/Sam’s Club supplier community. Their clients will discuss how weather impacts sales of their products and walk through examples of how they work with their Walmart counterparts to better align inventor with weather-driven shifts in consumer demand.
Attendees will hear directly from current Planalytics clients, including USM, on how they use Business Weather Intelligence to grow and manage their business with the world’s largest retailer.
USM Business Development Executive and Certified Snow Professional (CSP) with accreditation from the Snow and Ice Management Association (SIMA), Sean Hartnett, will discuss how Planalytics helps USM translate weather data into insights that USM uses to minimize the risks that are presented by both short term and long term weather changing patterns. By combining Planalytics data and USM’s subject matter expertise and information systems, USM enables their clients to be proactive and confident in their approach to snow and ice management.
“Working hand in hand with Planalytics, we help our clients institutionalize the way they prepare for weather’s impact on their businesses and their supply chain,” said Hartnett. “Bottom line is that, with the help of Planalytics, USM is able to instill a confidence in our clients that they are prepared to stay open and operate business as usual, no matter what the weather throws at them.”
The Business Weather Intelligence Symposium is being held at the Embassy Suites in Rogers Arkansas on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. To register for the event, visit http://bit.ly/9DNT5y
