Norristown, PA – USM, a leader in managed facility maintenance services and specialized project solutions sponsored the RILA Environmental Sustainability & Compliance Conference in San Diego last month. The company was attracted to ESCC not only because the event shares best practices in environmental sustainability specific to the retail industry, but also because RILA’s commitment to driving leadership in environmental sustainability aligns with USM’s corporate values.
The ESSC brought together retail executives, suppliers and other sustainability experts to address the key operational aspects of environmental sustainability and compliance, such as recycling, environmental regulation, renewable energy, sustainable packaging, supply chain sustainability, and corporate responsibility. The conference provided attendees with practical knowledge that can readily be applied to their businesses. Additionally, they were able to learn from and network with the biggest names in retail including Walmart, Target, Lowe’s and Home Depot to name a few.
