USM Services, An EMCOR Company, Celebrates New Building Grand Opening And Ribbon Cutting, Announces Expansion Of Missing Kids Program

NORRISTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA, October 19, 2011- USM Services, An EMCOR Company, today proudly celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its new headquarters and launched locally EMCOR's national Missing Kids program, Taking KidSafety To The Street™, in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

EMCOR and USM senior management were in attendance at today's ribbon-cutting ceremony, where an expansion was also announced of EMCOR's national Taking KidSafety To The Street™ Program---which has helped recover 220+ missing children since its launch in 2005 in partnership with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children®. As a part of the morning's ceremony, an image of a local missing child was unveiled that will be featured on vehicle posters to be displayed on USM vehicles across the state during the next month; a new poster with an image of a different missing child will be displayed each month going forward. Additonally USM has offered such vehicle posters free to businesses for display by them. "I'm delighted to be here today with USM in this wonderful facility made possible through private and public investment. This is the first significant development project in Norristown in a long time, partially funded by Montgomery County and the State of Pennsylvania," stated Tony Guzzi, President and CEO of EMCOR.

Alan Walker, Secretary, Pennsylvania State Dept. of Community and Economic Development, who was also in attendance stated, "On behalf of Governor Corbett, I congratulate USM and all those involved on the state and local level who helped to bring this project to fruition. EMCOR and USM have invested in the talent of the people of Pennsylvania, providing family-sustaining jobs in the region. And EMCOR's Missing Kids Program is bringing a potentially life-saving program to Norristown and Pennsylvania. Today is a good day."
