At USM, we see supplier diversity as a corporate responsibility to our communities on a broad level and to our subcontractors on a local level. We are honored to work with many minority, woman, veteran, and service-disabled veteran business owners.
Our customers require business enterprise certification, and they know we go above and beyond to deliver the proper documentation. Among our subcontractors, we have earned a reputation for providing outstanding opportunities and helping a diverse group of businesses owners participate in the procurement process.
We are always looking for opportunities to expand supplier diversity and work with new organizations. We contract with companies providing commercial services in the following areas:
To qualify for USM’s Supplier Diversity Program, you must meet the following guidelines:
We also offer a mentoring program for diverse business enterprises to assist them in becoming certified. To qualify for participation, you must be an active subcontractor working at a USM customer location and meet the criteria listed in our diversity qualification guidelines.
If you qualify, you will be contacted by a member of our Procurement Team. You will then receive a copy of our Subcontractor Agreement with a list of documents required including: insurance coverage and applicable trade licenses.
Please remember to include a copy of your woman, minority, or veteran owned business certification.
If you are a diverse company and are not yet certified, or if you have any questions on USM’s Supplier Diversity initiative, please contact us at ECSC_Procurement_Questions@emcorgroup.com.
